FAQ

Common Questions About Our Farm and Relaxing Retreat

FAQs

Are the animals in the pictures there all the time?

Short answer is yes. The animals pictured include our horses, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, and chickens, and this is their home. We live on the property and care for the animals daily. It is our joy.

Can we feed the animals?

We love hosting people that love animals and wish we could allow our guests to feed the animals but unfortunately it is not ideal as our animals have specific diets and some animals can be more sensitive to different foods. In addition, it is important that we don’t allow our animals to become to treat aggressive.

Can we pet the animals?

our animals are friendly, love people, and are used to being handled, so petting through the fence is totally acceptable. This comes with a word of caution that sometimes little fingers and big fingers can look like treats so it is important to be aware and pay attention to body language of the animals when interacting with them. We also would love to encourage families to focus on not chasing, scaring, or startling the animals – we want to be good stewards and protect our animals. We love how these animals can encourage stillness, quieted spirits, and gentleness in people of all ages.

Can we take pictures with the animals?

Yes, take all the pictures you want and please feel free to share them on our instagram page @overalltheanimals or @raubach_ranch

Can we ride the horses?

We are so sorry, no.

Can we fish in the pond?

Yes, the pond is ideal for catch and release. We have seen large catfish, carp, bluegill, bass, and more in this delightful little pond.
